Set up a project folder
Put everything in one folder. Give the files clear names. Show that folder to the AI when you start.

Gather the source documents
For this project, we used three key documents: the Salisbury book, the cemetery list, and the section plans. Family research was added later.

Ask the AI to describe the sources
Show the AI the files. Ask what each one is good for, and where it is weak. Ask what this material could become.

Get agreement before you build
AI was asked to create a PowerPoint presentation deck and a 1 page summary PDF that could be left behind. These guided the final approach used.

Use plan mode to get the plan right first
Focus on a small sample, not the whole churchyard. The AI might not get it right first time. Talk until the plan is right. Then let the AI build.

Build the data first
Get the facts into a working list first. If a date is wrong, change the original file, not the web page. Then make the pages again.

Build the pages second
Know the two kinds of page. Some pages explain the work. The others are the records: families, people, and graves.

Check, then refine
Go through the site as a visitor would. Click every path. Mistakes may still show. Fix them in the files, then make the pages again.
